Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy with the chance of a few spotty showers by morning. Lows: 58-65. Winds: SW 5-20+ mph.

Wednesday: Partly to mostly sunny. A stray shower or storm is possible in the afternoon across southern parts of Delmarva. Most will remain dry. Highs: 78-85. Winds: W-NW 5-20+ mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy to mostly clear. Lows: NW 5-15 mph.

Thursday: Partly cloudy. Highs: 65-78. Winds: E-SE 5-20+ mph.

Friday: Partly to mostly sunny with the chance of a few showers / storms in the evening hours. Highs: 75-85. Winds: S-SW 5-20+ mph.

Another sunny day on Tuesday will lead to highs in the 70s and a few low 80s as the high begins to slide off the coast. Watching a front dive onto Delmarva on Tuesday night and Wednesday provides us a chance of a few spotty showers as we get started on Wednesday. This isn’t a slam dunk chance of rain, but the threat is there. I am more focusing on the extra clouds that will be around as we start off on Wednesday. With the front clearing into the afternoon, this will shift the wind in off the Atlantic for Thursday and provide us with a slightly cooler day.

The front comes back north as a warm front for Thursday evening and Thursday night with extra clouds for much of the day on Thursday ahead of the cold front that brings the chance of a few showers and storms into the Friday evening. The front now looks to lag behind and keep chances for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms for Saturday before we dry out as high pressure takes control of the forecast with a spectacular Sunday with cooler temperatures and sunshine!

We climb back into the 70s and 80s by the middle of next week as high pressure looks to settle and take control of the forecast for the foreseeable future (at least…at this point).
