WORCESTER CO., MD -- Maryland State Police are investigating an alleged identity theft and fraud incident after a Worcester County resident filed a complaint.
On March 3rd, the Worcester County resident alleged their credit card information had been obtained and was being fraudulently used in Rockville, Maryland, according to state officials. The credit card was reportedly used at a Target in Rockville to purchase around $1600 in items.
Maryland State Police are now seeking assistance in identifying multiple alleged suspects from the case. The Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division obtained surveillance photos from the store, according to officials. The alleged suspects reportedly left the store on both March 2nd and March 3rd.
