OCEAN PINES, MD- A man has been charged with assault after reportedly hitting an Ocean Pines police officer.
Police say they were called to a medical incident at an Ocean Parkway home on Wednesday, November 27. While there, Timothy Price became verbally abusive and uncooperative, according to the police department.
Authorities say Price hit one of the officers in the chest.
He was taken into custody on a second-degree assault charge and later released on an unsecured bond.
