Donyale Hall, a Gulf War Era veteran and businesswoman, is running for Congress in Delaware. She moved to Dover in 1973 and graduated from Caesar Rodney High School. Hall holds an MBA from Wilmington University.
In addition to being a mother of ten, Hall has launched both a catering business and a general contracting company that supports women, ethnic minorities, and disabled veteran-owned businesses. She has previously been the program specialist for Veterans Employment and Training Services with the U.S. Department of Labor.
Hall is a volunteer and serves on boards for the Friends of Delaware Veterans and the Human Relations Commission. As president of the Frederick Douglas Foundation, she works on issues relating to economic development, education, and youth support.
