DELMARVA - WBOC will keep a running list of 2023 trick-or-treat dates and times across the Peninsula right here. This list will continuously be updated with additional listings or changes in times and dates. For any towns, cities or communities not on this list, please email us at news@wboc.com to have your community added. For specific questions to any of the below listed dates and times readers are advised to contact their town or city halls directly. Happy Halloween, Delmarva!

Maryland:

  • Berlin: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m.

  • Crisfield: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 4:30-7:30 p.m. 

  • Delmar: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m. No rain date

  • Denton: Trunk or Treat at St. Luke's Church, Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6 p.m.

  • Snow Hill: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 5-8 p.m.

  • St. Michaels: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.

Delaware:

  • Bethany Beach: Saturday, Oct. 28, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. (as part of the Wags, Witches & Warlocks annual Halloween festival of Bethany Beach.

  • Bethel: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.

  • Bridgeville: Downtown Trunk or Treat, Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.

  • Dagsboro: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.

  • Dover: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.

  • Georgetown: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.

 Virginia:

  • Chincoteague: Rescheduled from Tuesday, Oct. 31, 4-8 p.m. to Nov. 1

  • Exmore: Safe Night Out, Tuesday, Oct. 31, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Northampton Cunty's sheriff office. Main St. will not be closed off.

  • Onancock: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 5-8 p.m. 5 - 8 PM for children under 13.

  • Onley: Tuesday, Oct. 31, 5-8 p.m., Trunk or Treat

  • Parksley: Trunk-or-Treat postponed until 11/1, 5-8 p.m.

Other Notable Trick-or-Treat/Halloween-Related Events on Delmarva:

Salisbury University will be hosting a community Halloween celebration on October 31 from 5:30-7 p.m. on Camden Avenue. Candy will be available to Trick-or-Treaters at select SU houses. SU's Richard A Henson School of Science and Technology also plans to host a "Spooky Science Spectacular" from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Henson Sciience Hall.

Sean joined WBOC as Digital Content Producer in February 2023. Originally from New Jersey, Sean graduated from Rutgers University with bachelor’s degrees in East Asian Studies and Religion. He has lived in New York, California, and Virginia before he and his wife finally found a place to permanently call home in Maryland. With family in Laurel, Ocean Pines, Berlin, and Captain’s Cove, Sean has deep ties to the Eastern Shore and is thrilled to be working at WBOC serving the community.
