POCOMOKE CITY, Md.-The Worcester County Sheriff's Office announcing the arrests of three individuals on weapons and drug charges.
The arrests stemmed from an investigation by the Worcester County Criminal Enforcement Team. A search and seizure warrant was authorized for a home on the 700 block of Short Street and a home on the 200 block of Bonneville Avenue.
Investigators say four handguns were recovered from the searches. One was reportedly converted to fully automatic along with one AR style rifle. It was reportedly stolen from a local burglarized home.
Authorities say additional evidence was also located to indicate the distribution of cocaine. Investigators reportedly recovered approximately 15 grams of cocaine and 3.5 grams of crack cocaine.
Jael C. Ghent, 21, Maquis S. Moore, 21, and Naji Hassan El, 20, were arrested and charged. Ghent and Moore are being held without bond. El is being held on $7,500 bond.
