FRANKFORD, DE– Delaware State Police arrested three men on drug and gun charges following a months-long joint investigation.
DSP Special Operations Response Team, Sussex County Governor’s Task Force and Sussex County Drug Unit members executed a search warrant on a home in the 30000 block of Armory Road in Frankford shortly after 6 a.m. on Dec. 5.
Police describe the home as a “nuisance location” where fatal overdoses, assaults and firearms incidents reportedly took place in the past.
During the investigation, officers identified three suspects, all of Frankford, in connection with the alleged crimes: 51-year old Daniel Prouse, 41-year-old Douglas Wilkerson and 23-year-old Jaiheim Curtis.
DSP say the search revealed a .45 caliber handgun, ammunition, approximately 3.19 grams of suspected crack cocaine, approximately 79.33 grams of cocaine, approximately 180 bags of suspected heroin, approximately 69 doses of ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and over $600 in suspected drug proceeds.
A computer search showed Prouse was prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition, according to a press release.
Before being released on a $5,000 secured bond, Prouse was charged with the following crimes:
Possession of Firearm/Ammunition by Person Prohibited (Felony)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Before being released on a $5,500 unsecured bond, Wilkerson was charged with the following crimes:
Maintaining a Drug Property (Felony)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Curtis was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $76,000 cash bond and charged with the following crimes:
Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substance Tier 3 (Felony)
Possession of Controlled Substance Tier 3 (Felony)
Possession of a Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited (Felony)
Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled/Counterfeit Substance (Felony)
