EASTON, Md. - A plane crash in Talbot County is under investigation.
Authorities with the Easton Volunteer Fire Company say it happened just before 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon near the Easton Airport.
Officials say a small, single-engine plane crashed on landing on a runway.
There is no word on what caused the crash.
The pilot was able to get out of the plane on his own. The scene was turned over to the airport and the Federal Aviation Administration for further investigation.
