SALISBURY, MD - The city of Salisbury’s Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will be repairing a broken water main on Park Avenue today, according to the Salisbury Mayor’s Office. 

A spokesperson for the Mayor’s Office says Park Avenue will be impassable from W. Chestnut Street to W. Williams Street today, October 2nd, while the work is conducted. The closure reportedly applies to through traffic and emergency vehicles.

Water service interruptions are expected while the water main is repaired. Work began at 10:30 this morning, the City says, and is slated to last until about 4:30 p.m. 

The City has requested no street parking on Park Avenue during the repairs.
