Salisbury Truck Fire

SALISBURY, MD - The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that left little remaining of a 26-foot commercial truck in Salisbury last night. 

According to the Fire Marshal’s Office, the Fruitland Volunteer Fire Department responded to the vehicle fire just after 8 p.m. Thursday night, October 5th, on Dividing Road in Salisbury. 

It took 11 firefighters 15 minutes to control the vehicle fire, according to the Fire Marshal. In total, the fire caused an estimated $38,000 in damages to the 26' Lone Star box truck

Both the area in which the fire originated as well as the cause are still under investigation.
