BERLIN, Md.- One person is dead following a motorcycle crash that happened Saturday afternoon in Worcester County.
Maryland State Police were called to the intersection of westbound U.S. Route 50 and Route 610 for a crash involving two motorcycles.
Police say, a 2011 Harley Davidson driven by 47-year-old Brian P. Riley of Altoona, PA crashed into a 2002 Harley Davidson with a male and a female driver.
The passenger on Riley's motorcycle, 49-year-old Lorrie J. Bouymaster, was transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore by helicopter for her injuries. She later died on Sunday.
The male driver of the second motorcycle was taken to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, while the female passenger was taken to Christiana Hospital in Newark by helicopter.
Riley was taken into custody at the scene but later released.
The Maryland State Police Crash team is conducting an investigation and charges for Riley are pending after completion of the investigation.
