One Critically Injured in St. Michaels Crash

SALISBURY, Md. - Maryland State Police said one person has died in a car crash Friday afternoon. 

It happened near the intersection of Mt. Hermon Road and Walston Switch Road around 3:30 p.m.

According to state police, Shane Booth, 42 of Eden, was driving north on Walston Switch Road when he stopped at the stop sign and proceeded into the intersection. MSP said the driver failed to yield the right of way to a pickup truck traveling westbound on Mt. Hermon Road.

State police said the pickup truck then hit the front passenger side door of Booth's car.

Booth and his front passenger, Audrianna Booth, 30 of Salisbury, were both taken to PRMC for treatment. Audrianna passed away from her injuries at the hospital. The backseat passenger, Kevin Jaquith, was also transported to PRMC for treatment.

The driver of the pickup truck, 45-year-old Clinton Timmons of Newark, Md., was not injured in the crash. 

MSP said charges are pending.
