SEAFORD, Del.- Delaware State Police have arrested multiple people in connection with a drug investigation.
The Delaware State Police Sussex Drug Unit and the Governor's Task Force concluded a two-month drug investigation Friday involving Roy F. Nichols Jr. and the sale of illegal drugs at a home in the 20,000 block of Mellin Road and the 10,000 block of Sourwood Drive in Seaford.
According to police, Nichols was known to live and sell drugs from the home on Sourwood Drive. The investigation also revealed he allegedly supplied the residence on Mellin Road with narcotics.
Search and seizure warrants were obtained for the residences as a result of the investigation.
Following the search at Sourwood Drive, Nichols was taken into custody along with Jonathan Tunnell and Ruth Young. Tunnell was reportedly found to have marijuana, powder cocaine and currency on his person, police said.
As a result of the search of the property, authorities seized 8.49 grams of methamphetamine, 4.07 grams of marijuana, 9.99 grams of powder cocaine, 0.42 grams of crack cocaine, two Oxycodone pills, one bundle of heroin (approximately 0.091 grams), drug paraphernalia associated with manufacturing and distribution and three handguns (one of which was stolen from Hopkins Gun Shop), police said.
According to police, a second search warrant was executed at the Mellin Road residence. At the home, detectives contacted Shykisha Williams, Megan Tyndall, George Smith and Clifford Shockley. Detectives reportedly seized approximately 0.03 grams of crack cocaine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia used to manufacture and distribute crack cocaine.

Nichols, 44, was charged with a number of drug and weapons charges and was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of a $317,600 cash bond.
Tunnell, 22, was charged and committed to SCI in default of a $256,800 secured bond.
Young, 30, was charged and was released pending a hearing at a later date. A mugshot for her was not available, according to police.
Smith, 72, was charged and released on his own recognizance.
Connie M. Steward, 61, of Rehoboth Beach, was charged with possession of cocaine. She was released on her own recognizance.
Tyndall, 32, was charged with drug paraphernalia. She was released to the DOC Probation & Parole Georgetown Day Reporting Center.
Shockley, 60, was charged with drug paraphernalia and was released.
Williams, 41, was charged with local fugitive (FTA Family Court) and released.
