DELAWARE - John Whalen has won his primary against challenger Donyale Hall to become the Republican nominee for Delaware's U.S. Congress seat, according to the Associated Press.
As of 9:19 p.m., the AP shows Whalen with a victory at 70% of the vote counted.
Whalen will now go on to face Democratic winner Sarah McBride for Delaware's only Congressional seat in U.S. Congress.
