dui generic, dui patrol

CLAYTON, DE- A Former Clayton Police Chief has taken a plea deal in connection to a drunk driving incident.

Prosecutors say Carl Hutson pled guilty to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and entered the "First Offender's Program." As part of the program, he will have his license suspended for one year, pay a $250 fine, complete a DUI course, and use an ignition interlock device once he begins driving again.

The DOJ says on January 3, 49-year-old Hutson drove the wrong way on North Church Street in Milford. They say he failed a field sobriety test and had a BAC of .17 on a breathalyzer.
