BERLIN, MD - The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (SHA) has announced a resurfacing project on southbound US 113 beginning this week.

According to the SHA, the resurfacing will take place between Hayes Landing Road and Shiloh Farms Road from Thursday, November 14th through early December, weather permitting. Work is scheduled to take place weekdays, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. though times are subject to change depending on overnight temperatures.

Officials say single-lane closures and delays are expected during the project. Arrow boards, cones, and flaggers will be on site to direct drivers. The SHA asks commuters to remain alert and be aware of reduced speed limits and other traffic pattern changes.
