* WHERE...Portions of southeast Maryland and central, east central,
eastern, north central, south central, and southeast Virginia.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

...LIGHT SNOW MOVING THROUGH PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL VIRGINIA
AND THE MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE THIS EVENING...

Light snow is moving through portions of east central Virginia and
the Maryland eastern shore. A light snow accumulation, generally
one half inch or less is expected. With the very cold temperatures,
expect slick roadways across the region. The snow is expected to
dissipate between 11 PM and 1 AM.

Motorists will need to be alert to the possibility of slick
spots. Motorists should exercise caution while driving...especially
on bridges and overpasses. Allow for extra time to reach your
destination and avoid sudden stops or accelerations.

accumulation of freezing spray expected.

* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island MD to Smith Point
VA, Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA,
Chester River to Queenstown MD, Eastern Bay, Choptank River to
Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River, and Tangier Sound
and the inland waters surrounding Bloodsworth Island.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 10 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in freezing spray is hazardous.
Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components
inoperative. Ice accretion on decks and superstructures may
result in some loss of stability. Conditions will be hazardous
to small craft.

Mariners should prepare for ice accumulation on their vessel and
consider altering plans to avoid or mitigate these hazardous
