Sam joined the WBOC team in January 2024 as a News Producer. She graduated from the University of Delaware in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communication. Before working at WBOC, Sam worked for Hens All-Access in the University of Delaware’s Athletics Department. She also interned for the Delmarva Sports Network in 2022.

DORCHESTER CO., MD - The Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge announced the closure of a trail and parking lot to minimize disturbances to nesting bald eagles.
The Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge says the Marsh Edge Trail and the parking lot on Wildlife Drive will be closed December 26th until further notice. The closures are being put into place to minimize disturbances to nesting bald eagles.
The trail will reopen when bald eagle nesting activity ends.
